This holiday season, we invite you to join us in supporting our Mountain View UMC through our annual Giving Tree initiative. With inflation and food assistance programs on the chopping block, the need for food assistance has grown significantly. We are collecting non-perishable food items to help meet this demand. All donations are welcome, and you can drop off your contributions in the church foyer, or during office hours. This year, we’re introducing a Reverse Advent Calendar to guide your giving.
To participate, simply add a different food item to a box each day from December 1st to December 24th. A suggested list includes items like cereal, peanut butter, canned goods, and more. On Christmas Eve, bring your filled box to church to deliver your donation. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back and make a difference during the festive season.
