REACHING IN-THROUGH BIBLE STUDY
A person can’t live the Word without knowing the Word. We believe the lessons of the Bible become the foundations for every action, every decision, every path taken…as an individual and as a church. The Bible is the guide for how the faithful follow the Lord and teach others to follow as well. We know learning all the Bible has to teach is a life-long endeavor.
Mountain View UMC offers a variety of Bible Study sessions as part of Sunday Worship. Additional study opportunities vary depending on need and interest. New learners and those with years of Bible background — all have something new to learn!
Examples of Bible Study:
Focused study sessions – offered for a few weeks give participants an opportunity for in-depth study on a single topic or theme.
“Teach me Lord, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it to the end.
Give me understanding so that I may keep your law and obey it with all my heart. Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.”
