Everybody has a calling to do God’s work. For the Mountain View United Methodist Men, callings for service to the church can be as varied as erecting a structure for the playground to scooping up ice cream for a long line of family, friends and those in the “neighborhood” of Jesus.

The United Methodist Men (UMM) meet regularly as friends…to just “talk things over” that are affecting their personal lives and the life of the church. They engage in activities they enjoy and work hard on projects that benefit Mountain View. The men meet every Tuesday morning for coffee at 7:30AM. All meetings are open to men desiring the fellowship of time spent with other Christian men.

Typical activities for men:

Tuesday Coffee & Fellowship
Ministry to a Church in Sonoyta, Mexico
Providing the Upper Room Devotions to the church
Providing Worship Support for the Pastor with special services and events
Supporting fair trade coffee sales to support a family business in Mexico
Supporting Mountain View United Methodist Student Scholarships
Recycling Aluminum Cans (fund raiser)

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong,
let all that you do be done in love.”
